19 STANCES, an initiatory journey

These stanzas, poems composed of a series of lyrical stanzas of serious inspiration, are drawn from teachings of Tibetan sages. They exhort us to go beyond our human condition too human to reach our true nature, one and indivisible.

To the question asked of Krishnamurti, "What is sound to you?" he replied:
"If you do not listen to the sounds of habit, they have an extra-ordinary meaning. So you listen to all things new. Can I listen without the sound of words? Then my listening is incomplete."

Kelvin RAS has been a poet and landscape artist since 1989, «19 STANCES, un voyage initiatique» was created between 2021 and 2022. ; this is his first official album.
Apart from this Poetry which he calls Primal, he composes of “Non-Dits”, a kind of verbal joust with the thoughts that animate it, where words are played out so that they can express themselves beyond common sense what they conceal.
Because words are sound that imprison meaning.
Often very funny his sound poems wield humor and humour with a scalpel.

He also works with texts by other authors, such as Antonin Artaud... whose words he puts into voice, sounds and music.

His «godfather» in sound poetry is Bernard Heidsieck, pioneer of action poetry, who was the first to recognize and praise his sound works.

he directs monthly since March 2021 for Radio Radio, a station based in Toulouse in south-west France radio creations based on fantastic literature.

Ces stances, poèmes composés d’une suite de strophes lyriques d’inspiration grave, sont tirés d’enseignements de sages du Tibet.
Elles nous exhortent à dépasser notre condition humaine trop humaine pour atteindre à notre véritable nature, une et indivisible.

Il n'a qu'un temple : c'est ton corps !"

A la question posée à Krishnamurti :
« Qu’est-ce que le son pour vous?» il répondit :
« Si vous n’écoutez pas les sons sous le signe de l’habitude, ceux-ci revêtent une signification extraordinaire. Alors vous écoutez toutes choses à neuf. Puis-je écouter sans le son des mots ? Alors mon écoute est incomplète.»

Kelvin RAS est poète et paysagiste sonore depuis 1989,
«19 STANCES, un voyage initiatique » a été créé entre 2021 et 2022 ; c’est son premier album officiel.
En dehors de cette Poésie qu’il nomme Primale, il compose des « Non-Dits », sorte de joute verbale avec les pensées qui l’animent, où il se joue des mots pour qu’ils ex-priment au-delà du sens commun ce qu’ils dissimulent.
Car les mots sont du son qu’emprisonne le sens.
Souvent très drôle ses poésies sonores manient l’humour et l’humeur au scalpel.
Il travaille aussi à partir de textes d’autres auteurs, tel Antonin Artaud... dont il met en voix, sons et musiques les mots.
Son « parrain » en poésie sonore est Bernard Heidsieck, pionnier de la poésie action, qui fut le premier à reconnaitre et louer ses travaux sonores.
Il réalise mensuellement depuis mars 2021 pour Radio Radio, une station basée à Toulouse dans le sud-ouest de la France, des créations radiophoniques autour de la littérature fantastique.
